--Royal Mail PLC is starting a doorstep parcel-collections service, the Financial Times reports.

--The FT says that customers can book collections up to five days in advance from Monday to Saturday, after paying an online fee.

--Charges are 72 pence (93 U.S. cents) for each parcel in addition to postage costs, or 60 pence for a prepaid return item, up to a maximum of five items per collection, the FT says.
